Decking Profiles
How you fasten your deck determines which profile you need. Whether you want the clean look of hidden fasteners or the traditional strength of face screws, selecting the right edge profile is the first step to a successful install.

Pre-Grooved (Grooved 2 Sides)
The Hidden Fastener Standard.
This board comes from the mill with a slot (groove) running down both sides. This groove is designed to accept hidden deck clips.
The Benefit: It provides a smooth, fastener-free surface. The clip automatically spaces the boards.

Standard Solid (E4E)
The Traditional Install.
A solid board with “Eased 4 Edges” (rounded corners). It has no grooves and must be installed by face screwing or using a plug system.
Why Choose Solid? Face screwing gives maximum structural hold-down power and is required for borders, stairs, and pattern work.

Porch Flooring (T&G)
For COVERED Areas Only.
This Tongue & Groove profile is great for covered porches. It has no gaps for drainage and must be used only on covered or screened porches.
