Our Story
A Small Company With Big Lumber
Founded in 1998 by Matt Gryder and Russ Scruggs, Timberline Lumber Company started with one goal: bring quality finish lumber directly from the mill to Western North Carolina. More than twenty-five years later, we are still a small, family-owned company, but our reach has grown. From our yard in Black Mountain, we help builders, contractors, and homeowners find the right lumber for projects of every size.
