Where Cypress works well

Cypress is a natural fit for porch ceilings, soffits, siding, exterior trim, and paneling. Flooring, timbers, and other specialty pieces can also be discussed when you request a quote. Start with the application, then choose the profile and finish that suit the space.

Appearance and profiles

Cypress often ranges from light honey-gold to tan, with a natural character that works well in both traditional and modern spaces. Porch ceilings may be painted, clear-coated, or left natural. Choose from the profile options below, then confirm grade, moisture, and finish with your quote.

Why use Cypress for porch ceilings?

Do you stock Cypress in Black Mountain?

Cypress is quoted to the requirements of your project rather than presented as a fixed package. Pickup is available in Black Mountain once the material is confirmed. Include the job ZIP if you would like regional delivery priced.

Do you have pecky, sinker, or relief-cut Cypress?

Pecky, sinker, and other appearance-driven Cypress can be requested. Tell us the look, profile, and quantity you need, and we will confirm what can be sourced. Custom or relief-cut milling should be discussed with the quote.

Can Cypress be quoted with Ipe or Garapa porch floors?

Yes. Add the other species and quantities to the quote request so we can price the Cypress and porch flooring together. Each material is matched to the project rather than sold as a prebuilt package.

Should I choose Cypress or Cedar?
