Color & Appearance
White Oak heartwood is a warm light tan to medium brown with an olive or golden cast. The grain is open but straight, with distinctive ray flecks visible on quarter-sawn boards — these silvery-tan "tiger stripes" are considered a premium feature in high-end flooring. White Oak takes stain extremely well, from light Scandinavian white-wash tones all the way to rich, dark espresso finishes, making it the most design-flexible hardwood available.

- Long-Length Strip Flooring: 3/4" solid tongue-and-groove in 2-1/4" and 3-1/4" face widths. Random lengths averaging 4'–8', with some boards 10' and longer. This is our flagship White Oak product — the quality difference compared to boxed, short-length flooring is immediately visible in the finished installation.
- S4S Boards: Surfaced four sides for trim, cabinetry face frames, and furniture-grade applications. 4/4 and 5/4 thicknesses in standard widths.

- Select & Better: Predominantly clear face with minimal character marks. For formal living spaces and high-end residential.
- #1 Common: Some sound knots and color variation — provides a warmer, more natural look that many homeowners prefer over the more uniform Select grade.
- #2 Common (Rustic): Full character with larger knots, pin worm holes, and mineral streaks. A budget-conscious option that still delivers the White Oak look.
Long-Length Strip Flooring
Our emphasis on long-length strips is a key differentiator. Most retail hardwood flooring is packaged in 1'–3' lengths with a few longer boards mixed in, creating floors that are visually busy with excessive end joints. Our White Oak strip flooring averages significantly longer random lengths, which means:
