Description
Yellow Pine has been popular since Colonial times and provides a great value in a wide variety of applications. Proven as durable and attractive, floor to classic paneling and ceiling patterns. Yellow Pine heartwood is reddish brown, sapwood is yellowish white. It is straight grained with a fine to medium texture. Overall, this wood works fairly well, and also glues and finishes well. Our knotty flooring provides a good choice for those who desire a rustic or Colonial appearance.
At Timberline Lumber Company of Asheville, we work with Ray White Lumber in Sparkman, Arkansas. Trees averaging 40-50 years old are cut from the 10,000 acres they control. The location and age of the trees provide us with high quality products. Our tongue & groove products as well as our trim boards are excellent for staining and painting. Arkansas Yellow Pine offers a distinct grain pattern and an appealing golden color.
