Required LF
The planner's material requirement for your area, board coverage and waste allowance.
Ordered LF
The total length of the boards in your selected mix: each board length multiplied by its piece count.
Rounding surplus
The extra linear feet from rounding the requirement to whole boards. Cuts and the final layout still need review.
You can plan by area when the board run is unknown, then review a recommended mix or use a supported manual or single-length selection. A recommendation does not promise continuous runs or current stock.
Prices are checked when you submit a request or proceed to checkout. Saving an estimate does not reserve its prices. Accepted quote requests keep their submitted prices. Unpriced material and delivery stay pending until confirmed.
Ipe product listings include Premium & Btr grades. The grade depends on the selected product and dimensions. Include the grade from your plans or the product you want to match. We will confirm the grade, dimensions, and availability with your quote.
Appearance and finishing

Ipe ranges from olive-brown to chocolate-brown and can weather toward silver-gray when left unfinished. Discuss the appearance you want with your installer and follow the selected finish manufacturer's maintenance instructions.
Installation and hardware
Dense tropical decking usually needs pre-drilling and corrosion-resistant fasteners. Hardware is sold separately from the lumber.
Pre-Grooved boards are typically installed with hidden clips matched to the groove.
S4S square-edge boards are typically face-screwed, with an optional plug system.
Fastener coverage depends on the board layout and the selected package, so confirm the manufacturer’s count before ordering.
End-grain sealer is commonly applied to field cuts; your installer should confirm the product and method.

Pickup and delivery
