Pine is not one material
- Eastern White Pine — finish paneling and related siding/ceiling profiles on that owner. Often chosen when a paint-grade or interior-adjacent look is the plan.
- Arkansas Yellow Pine (also searched as Southern Yellow Pine) — denser yellow pine for siding, rustic exteriors, and other non-flooring lines quoted in linear feet. Flooring on that owner is a separate square-foot path.
Do not specify “pine siding” without naming which pine. Grade, milling, and current catalog rows change the answer more than the nickname.

Western Red Cedar is the live cedar siding owner: current catalog options, coverage planning for approved profiles, and a quote/cart path. Compare it to a named pine on appearance, the finish you intend (paint, stain, or unfinished), which profiles that owner actually lists, and how much weather the wall sees.
